Kairos Inside Kairos Outside

Under the Spotlight is a project our ministry began to work with in January 2022 with author Terrance J. Williamson. It's been an incredible journey, as editor I can say there were many tears along the way. I am excited and blessed to have worked directly with Terrance, he is a Poet and Song Writer. Under the Spotlight went live this Thanksgiving.

We thank our Lord for His provisions and making this dream become a reality.
NO SIGNS OF MAIL
O’mail man, please don’t pass me by,
Don’t you know I want a letter or two,
Just like these other guys?
I have gone days, even weeks,
But never months where my name
You fail to speak.
O’mail man, please don’t pass me by.
Darkness has always flooded my quarters,
But mail has always offered
The slightest shimmer of light,
Even those built on false hope,
Those that easily fall into
A rubble of lies.
O’mail man, please don’t pass me by,
Although they appear to be just paper,
To me they’re sheets of white gold
Engraved with the fortunes of black onyx,
They’re the treasure that can get me
Through the cost of each day
And push all my worries away.
O’mail man, please don’t pass me by,
Surely a love letter would be nice,
But let it be legal mail, junk mail,
Or even impersonal spiritual mail.
Anything, and I mean anything will do.
Just as long as I know, by somebody,
I’m thought of too.

Thank you to our team members for serving in this years Angel Tree, to BVCC members for the sponsorship of over 200+ gifts. We know all the children were blessed with so many gifts.
Volunteers assisted with:
Caregiver calls, booth assistance, wrapping all the gifts, delivering gifts. A special thank you to the Tsai family for volunteering their home to stage the gifts as we were organizing them, and on 12/16/2023 it became our HUB.
